Bordeaux and surroundings

Bordeaux city offers a wide variery of places to visit. Bordeaux down town is a historical center that has been preserved from war destruction. 

From the Hotel at Meriadeck, a 10 minutes walk will bring you to Bordeaux old center or docks for a nice walk by the river. 

Otherwise, you may wish before or after the meeting to take the train at the railway station (gare Saint-Jean, BUS LIANE 1⁺ from the hotel) and go to ARCACHON to visit this very nice city, have a tour by boat in the Arcachon bay or for the toughest climb the Pyla's Dune !
